About Us
Laurie Held-Biehl
Laurie has been a Certified Shorthand Reporter and Registered Professional Reporter for more than 25 years. Committed to remaining technologically savvy, Laurie was among the first to be licensed as a Certified Realtime Reporter. She is licensed in both California and Texas and has reported throughout the United States, South America and abroad. Her experience in reporting and managing cases from the first to the last deposition is testament to that old adage “Consistency is the key to quality” that our clients have come to rely on. She continues to report on a daily basis, but finds time to volunteer in the community, is very involved with her children and their various activities, and plays a significant behind-the-scenes role in the daily operations of the office.
John F. Biehl
John’s experience encompasses more than 27 years in environmental and business litigation as a Certified Shorthand Reporter and Registered Professional Reporter. John now enjoys overseeing the day-to-day business operations at Biehl, et al. By staying abreast of technological advances in the industry, he is better able to assist clients with tech-related issues on a more frequent basis. His daily interaction with clients on a personal level is something he is enjoying and finding very fulfilling. The flexibility of ownership allows him the benefit of being able to volunteer in many activities in the community with his family while maintaining a full-time role at the office.
Staff
The all-important “et al.,” our reporting staff is comprised of reporters with diverse areas of emphasis. The breadth and depth of their various personalities and life experiences contribute richly to our qualifications. Our reporters, like ourselves, are career-oriented reporters, not the part-time, Tuesday-and-Thursday garden-variety reporters that so many agencies contract with. They are committed to maintaining their professional credentials and staying ahead of the rest, while finding time to enjoy a healthy work/life balance. They are available full-time and believe in doing what it takes to get the job done in a timely, professional and courteous manner.
